Coulomb's inverse square law is a law of physics that describes the electrostatic interaction between two electrically charged particles.
The law states that:
F = ke q1q2r2
ke is a proportionality constant approximately equal to 8.987551 x109 N⋅m2 C2 ,
q1and q2 are the charges of the two particles,
r is the distance between the two particles.
If the force is positive the particles are being repulsed. If the force is negative, the particles are being attracted.
