New Features in Maple V Release 5.1
Maple V Release 5.1 contains some special features. These are summarized below:
Export to Maple Explorer
Opening a URL
Spreadsheets and Smart Plots
Export a Maple worksheet to generate a LaTeX file that can be opened in a web browser. The web document can contain live expressions, smart plots, and spreadsheets. "Export to Maple Explorer" is only available on Windows platforms.
Retrieve files from a web server. If the file is a Maple V worksheet, view it in your copy of Maple V. If the file is a web document, view it using a predetermined web browser. For more information about opening URLs, see Opening a URL.
Spreadsheets and Smart Plots are now supported on all Maple V platforms.
