Changing the Zoom Level for the Model Diagram

While you are building your model you can:

• 

zoom in on the model diagram to see more detail

• 

zoom out from your model diagram for a high-level view of your diagram

• 

scale the model diagram to fit the Model Workspace

• 

reset the zoom to return to the default zoom factor ( )

To zoom in on a model

Do one of the following:

• 

Select View > Zoom In.

• 

Press Ctrl + numeric keypad plus key (Command + numeric keypad plus key for Macintosh).

• 

Press Ctrl (Command for Macintosh) while rotating the mouse wheel forwards.

To zoom out from a model

Do one of the following:

• 

Select View > Zoom Out.

• 

Press Ctrl + numeric keypad minus key (Command + numeric keypad minus key for Macintosh).

• 

Press Ctrl (Command for Macintosh) while rotating the mouse wheel backwards.

To scale to fit

Do one of the following:

• 

Select View > Scale to fit.

• 

Press Ctrl+T (Command+T for Macintosh).

To reset the zoom factor

Do one of the following:

• 

Select View > Reset Zoom.

• 

Press Ctrl+0 (zero) for Windows and Linux; on Macintosh, press Command+0 (zero).
