Angular Acceleration Sensor

Measure the absolute angular acceleration at a flange

Description The Angular Acceleration Sensor (or Rotational Acceleration Sensor) component generates an output signal proportional to the absolute rotational acceleration at a rotational flange.
 Equations $y={K}_{\mathrm{toUnit}}\stackrel{.}{w}\phantom{\rule[-0.0ex]{1.5ex}{0.0ex}}w={\stackrel{.}{\mathrm{\phi }}}_{\mathrm{flange}}$ ${\mathrm{\tau }}_{\mathrm{flange}}=0$

Variables

Name Units Description Modelica ID ${\mathrm{\phi }}_{\mathrm{flange}}$ $\mathrm{rad}$ Angle of flange flange.phi ${\mathrm{\tau }}_{\mathrm{flange}}$ $Nm$ Torque at flange flange.tau $w$ $\frac{\mathrm{rad}}{\mathrm{sec}}$ Angular velocity at flange w ${K}_{\mathrm{toUnit}}$ Conversion factor to selected units
