Beveled Teeth Dog Clutch

Dog clutch component with beveled teeth

The Beveled Teeth Dog Clutch component models a dog clutch with beveled teeth. The component assumes identical teeth on both sides (see the following figure) and models the elastic contact with friction between teeth. The actuation is applied through a 1-D translational flange. The moving side travel is limited by an elastic end-stop.
