Heat Contact

Basic component of Contact between 2 objects

Description The Heat Contact component models contact between 2 objects which is controlled by the signal input. The following image is an example with Thermal Conductor component to explain the behavior of Heat Contact component.
Equations $\mathrm{dT}=\mathrm{T__a}-\mathrm{T__b}$ When $\mathrm{sw}$ is $\mathrm{true}$ , the contact is valid and the component has heat resistance $\mathrm{R__on}$. When $\mathrm{sw}$ is $\mathrm{false}$ , the contact is invalid and the component has heat conductance $\mathrm{G__off}$.

Variables

Symbol Units Description Modelica ID $\mathrm{Q__flow}$ $W$ Heat flow rate from port a to port b Q_flow $K$ Temperature of port a $K$ Temperature of port b $\mathrm{dT}$ $K$ Relative temperature between port a and port b dT
