Saving a File
Save changes to write the current state of your file (that is, the state that is currently in memory) to disk. MapleSim models can be saved in two formats. The default format is .msim. A second format, .base_msim, is designed to work with revision control systems.
To save a new MapleSim model:
Click Save File (
Enter a filename and location.
Select a file type (either a standard .msim model or a version controlled .base_msim model).
To save changes to an existing file:
If you have the selective save feature enabled, the Selective Save window opens. See The Selective Save Feature for more information on performing a selective save.
To convert an existing model to a different file format:
From the File menu, select Save As... .
