Description
•
MapleException is the constructor for the MapleException class. This class is used in Java External Calling (see define_external) and Java Open Maple (see OpenMaple) for passing errors between Maple and Java.
•
If MapleException is given an existing MapleException me, the new MapleException is a copy of me.
•
Giving MapleException an existing Exception e, is equivalent to calling MapleException(e.getMessage()).
•
If a String msg is passed, the MapleException is created using msg as the error message.
•
If a String msg and one or two Objects (o1, o2) are passed, the MapleException is created using msg as the error message. The data objects are inserted into the error message, replacing %1 and %2. This behavior attempts to mimic that of error. The Object o1 must be one of java.lang.Boolean, java.lang.Byte, java.lang.Character, java.lang.Double, java.lang.Float, java.lang.Integer, java.lang.Long, java.lang.Short, or java.lang.String.
