Stemming from a user's query, we explore how to generate a stepwise solution of a trig equation. Originally, the user wanted to know if the complete solution could be developed in the "Equation Manipulator" but we show that only part of the solution can be obtained this way. A complete solution requires use of a number of Maple's syntax-free features, including palettes, the Context Menu, and the "Equation Manipulator."
