Selection Tool in Canvas

The selection tool allows you to select a region in the canvas and move the contents of that selection to another area in the canvas.
|
|
1.
|
From the Drawing toolbar, select the selection tool.
|
|
2.
|
In the canvas, click the mouse and drag the cursor across the region to be selected.
|
|
3.
|
Release the mouse. The area is highlighted.
|
|
4.
|
As necessary, move the contents of the region by clicking and dragging the mouse.
|
