Calling Sequence
StopMaple(kv)
RestartMaple(kv, err)
Parameters
kv
-
kernel handle returned by StartMaple
err
string buffer
Description
These functions are part of the OpenMaple interface to Microsoft Visual Basic.
The StopMaple function permanently terminates execution of OpenMaple. After calling StopMaple, OpenMaple cannot be restarted with StartMaple.
The RestartMaple function causes the Maple kernel to clear its internal memory so that Maple acts as if just started. This function is equivalent to executing the Maple restart command. If an error occurs during the process of restarting, the err string pointer is filled with a description of the error, and False is returned.
